Pokémon Cards in Saudi Arabia

Buying Pokémon cards in Saudi Arabia usually means choosing between hobby shops, online resale and imports. This guide explains what to look for — and where Maydan's machines fit in.

Sealed product vs loose cards

Sealed product — booster packs, Elite Trainer Boxes, sealed boxes — arrives untouched from the manufacturer. Loose singles can be excellent value for deck building, but they carry more risk when the seller is unknown. If you are buying for the pull or for long-term value, sealed is the safer starting point.

What to check before you buy

A few quick checks remove most of the risk in the local market.

  • Look for intact factory wrapping and clean, unbroken seams on packs
  • Compare the pack weight and print quality with a known-good pack from the same set
  • Be cautious with unusually cheap 'guaranteed hit' bundles and repackaged tins
  • Buy from sellers who can say where their stock came from

Where Maydan fits

Maydan sells sealed Pokémon TCG product through vending machines, sourced via professional trade channels and stored inside managed units until purchase. Pricing is shown on the screen, so there is no haggling and no surprise markup at the counter.

Availability in the Eastern Province

Maydan is based in Dammam, with the first two machines planned for Al Khobar and Dhahran. Both are currently listed as coming soon — no Maydan machine is trading yet. Location updates are published on the Locations page as venues are confirmed.
